We provide mobile services, seeing clients in their homes, schools, kindergartens, local park or swimming pool. We even offer telehealth services for those who aren’t able to have face-to-face appointments or live further afield.

Daniel Smit
Paediatric Physiotherapist
Daniel Smit is a highly qualified Paediatric Physiotherapist, recognised by the Australian Physiotherapy Association, with over a decade of experience in both community and private practice. His extensive career includes senior roles in clinical practice and education, reflecting his deep commitment to the field of paediatrics.
Daniel’s journey into physiotherapy began with a background in Chinese Medicine and Human Biology. Before becoming a physiotherapist, he practiced as a Chinese Medicine Practitioner in private practice, where he developed a strong interest in paediatrics through his work with young clients and his personal experiences as a parent. This passion led him to pursue a career in physiotherapy, culminating in a Master’s degree in Advanced Paediatric Physiotherapy Practice from Monash University.
- Neuromuscular Disorders: Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, Cerebral Palsy, genetic disorders, developmental delays, and Down Syndrome.
- Musculoskeletal Conditions: Complex pain management, burns, stroke, and acquired brain injuries (ABI).
- Assistive Technology: Extensive experience in prescribing and managing various assistive devices, including manual and power wheelchairs, bicycles/tricycles, standing frames, walkers, and scooters.
- Hydrotherapy Services: Providing therapeutic support through specialized water-based treatments.
Daniel is known for his compassionate and empathetic approach, taking the time to understand each child’s unique needs and goals. As a father of four active children, he relates closely to the families he works with, offering both professional expertise and personal insight. His primary goal is to empower children and their families, helping them to achieve their fullest potential and ensuring they have equal opportunities to thrive. Daniel is dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of his clients, believing that with the right support and opportunities, there are no limits to what can be achieved.
