Our Approach

Understanding Comes First

Every person who comes to STRIDES has a different story. The reason for seeking care may be pain, injury, development, performance or mobility, but the starting point remains the same: understanding what matters most to the person in front of us.

We Listen Before We Treat

Your first appointment is not only about where it hurts. We want to understand what has changed, how it affects your life, what you are concerned about and what you hope to achieve.

We Think Carefully

Assessment is more than completing a checklist. It is a process of identifying relevant factors, testing clinical ideas and deciding what is most likely to help. Every recommendation should have a purpose.

We Explain Clearly

You deserve to understand what we have found, what it may mean and what the available options are. We use clear language, welcome questions and involve you in decisions about your care.

We Work With You

A plan is useful only when it makes sense for the person expected to follow it. We combine our clinical knowledge with your goals, preferences and circumstances.

Treatment Has a Purpose

Depending on your needs, care may include hands-on physiotherapy, exercise rehabilitation, strength and movement retraining, acupuncture and dry needling, cupping, education and self-management strategies.

Daniel’s university training in Chinese Medicine provides an additional foundation for the use of acupuncture where it is clinically appropriate. These techniques are not presented as stand-alone solutions and are integrated within a broader physiotherapy plan.

We Continue Learning

Healthcare changes. Our responsibility is to remain curious, review new evidence and continue developing our skills. Ongoing learning supports better questions, more considered decisions and clearer care.

We Measure What Matters

Improvement may mean less pain, greater strength, a developmental milestone, returning to training, walking confidently or managing everyday tasks more easily. Progress is defined in relation to the goals that matter to you.
